I have found this in my nan's collection and am unsure whether it is a real stamp or not. I am wondering if it may be a plate print as on thicker card and no perforations. Am I correct and can anyone tell me more about it?
That looks like a cutout from postal stationery. Similar indicia were used for many years, including, for a long stretch, on postal cards. I have a couple resources that list those, and I will be back with them tomorrow.
