Hi all,
I'd be interested to hear about recent experiences buying stamps from German sellers on ebay (eBay.de), especially shipping to the U.S.

Last year, when the new tariffs and customs rules came into effect, it became noticeably more expensive and unpredictable to order from Germany. In some cases, buyers were charged additional duties or handling fees on delivery, even for relatively low-value items.

From what I understand, the situation may have changed again recently, with some tariffs being cancelled or adjusted and eBay/shipping services possibly handling customs differently now.
So I'm curious:
Are purchases from Germany now arriving without additional charges?
Or are buyers still being asked to pay duties, taxes, or carrier fees upon delivery?
Does it depend on shipping method?
Any recent firsthand experiences with stamp purchases specifically?

I'd appreciate any updates before I start buying again.

Thanks in advance!

I received a package from the Netherlands last week (4kg world off paper charity mix) and have one coming from the UK (4lbs of on paper mixtures) which just got out of customs this morning. No tariffs.
