Good ones AnthonyUK...we all had that George 6 British Guiana stamp when I started collecting...Who knew so much mail came out of British Guiana ?????

Thanks for that heads-up. Now I know I can hunt for any of at least three years.

That seller uses the word "valuable" so often, I hope he or she has trademarked it.

Are photos of/ pictures of/ islands really considered a map as in timbres667 posting of the beautiful Iceland issue? I thought maps had to be more like the latter variety Iceland stamp - handdrawn and all that. Can we clarify. Do they show the same place and I just don't know it? I Know I've missed most of this thread, but retrospectively, I'd just like to. Thanks -

I remember Latvia use maps to print stamps because of the shortage of paper. Something I learn on SCF!
