I have recently purchased hundreds of space stamps and first day issue covers from various countries. Is there a good price value guide that is recommended?

Wellp, this arrived on a postcard today, and seeing as I can't read Russian, I am not totally sure what is depicted next to the man. Looks like a space craft of some kind to me!

Nells - Georgy Nikolayevich Babakin (1914-1971) was a prominent aerospace engineer working in the USSR's space program. Your Russia stamp, featuring a portrait of Babakin and depicting the 1970 Soviet spacecraft "Luna-17" in the background, was designed by A. Povarihin, printed by lithography, and issued by Russia on November 13, 2014 to commemorate G. N. Babakin's birth centenary.

Here is an image of an airmail stamp illustrating the descent of the USSR's Venera-4 probe through the atmosphere of Venus on October 18, 1967, designed and engraved by Jacques Gauthier, and issued by Central African Republic on April 23, 1968 to commemorate this achievement in space exploration, Scott No. C56. Note: G. N. Babakin's team designed and built the Venera-4 spacecraft!
