Georges Henri Rouault (1871-1958) was a French Fauvist and Expressionist painter and printmaker in lithography and etching. Here are images of two Red Cross semi-postal stamps depicting works by Rouault from his great series of mixed-media intaglio prints, Miserere, first exhibited in 1948, designed and engraved by Jule Piel, and issued by France on December 2, 1961, Scott Nos.
