Hungarian Red Cross 1939 charity labels(?). J. Henri Dunant - 10 (tiz) filler Empress Elizabeth -`Sissi` - 20 (husz) filler Governor Horthy & wife - 20 (husz) filler Were printed in mini sheets (decorated frame, two rows each containing these stamps in this order...) Bought them yesterday at a flea market, no other information yet...  |

Bartolomé de las Casas O.P. (c. 1484-1566) was a Spanish historian, social reformer and Dominican friar who became the first resident Bishop of Chiapas, and the first officially appointed "Protector of the Indians." Here is an image of a postal tax stamp depicting Friar Las Casas aiding an Indian boy, engraved and printed by Waterlow & Sons, Ltd., and issued by Colombia in May, 1951 to benefit the Red Cross, Scott No. RA50. - nethryk  |

Romania : Air Ambulance Red Cross Helicopter: YR-ELD Sud Aviation SA316B Alouette III c/n 1911 R24-Dec-71; w/o 21-Aug-03 Sud Aviation, later becoming Aérospatiale in 1970, produced altogether 1'437 aircraft.
