150 years of red cross in Germany On cachet is Elsa Brandstrom (1888-1948) worshiped as Angel of Siberia, came in 1915 in the service of the Swedish red cross and acquired during the first world war great merits in the supply of German and Austrian prisoner of war in Russian camps. |
