Here is an image of a Red Cross postal tax stamp depicting a wounded soldier and his family, printed by lithography, and issued by Greece in 1924, Scott No. RA47.

Folke Bernadotte, Count of Wisborg (1895-1948) was a Swedish diplomat and nobleman noted for his negotiation, as vice-president of the Swedish Red Cross, of the release of some 31,000 prisoners from German concentration camps during World War II. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Count Bernadotte and a couple of Red Cross evacuation vehicles, designed by Swedish artist Björn Brusewitz (1948- ), engraved by Majvor Franzén-Matthews, and issued by Sweden on August 10, 1987, Scott No. 1645, Facit No. 1462, plus a photo of the count.

The battle of Solferino was an important event that contributed to the formation of the Red Cross. Hungary produced this sheet in 1989 from a painting by Carlo Bossini called La battaglia di Solferino. Unfortunately they didn't really get the stamp sheet right.

Here is an image of a Red Cross semi-postal (charity) stamp depicting a child's smiling face within a drop of blood, designed and combined engraved by František Horniak and photogravure, and issued by Slovakia on November 15, 1993 to promote blood donations, Scott No. B28.

Symbol of the Red Cross, engraved and printed by American Bank Note Company, and issued by Ecuador on April 25, 1945 as one of a set of eight similar stamps commemorating the international organization's 80th anniversary, Scott No. 441.
