Folks:

This is what is called aa Combination FDC. The stamp the cachet (and First Day Cancel) is for is applied to the cover, then other, postally valid stamps, related to the theme of the stamp beiing honoured, are applied and cancelled, too.

Lovely cover!

David

Stamperdude--wonderful package received!
Wow--thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now I have some new material to scan in the dungeon
(basement) and post to this thread that I dearly love!

I had to look closely to find the Republic of Burundi.
My geography is not so grea-I was thinking way southern Africa--not a very close guess.

Sincerely,
Gussyboy1

I do not know where Republic of Burundi would be either. I have always collected US so geography of other countries did not factor into my collecting. I can't wait to see your new material. Of course I have already seen them once. Ha!
