Thanks. It does have the pyramid and star watermark. The perf. 12.5 on top also fits. I know it's not in the best condition, but just came across it as an item left in an old broken-up 1896 Scott Postage Stamp Album.
According to the 2009 catalog I have, a used copy of the perf. 12.5 #3 was valued at $35. There is a perf. 12.5X13 variant, #3c, that was valued used at $95.
Gibbons lists this perf 12½x13 and compound, at £80 used, and a perf 13 at £250 used. It also prices stamps with inverted watermark and upright watermark perf 12½ (the cheapest perf) at £32 used.
No such luck for the rarer version. It's a perf. 12.5 (all sides) and has the normal (not inverted) watermark. It's still an interesting early stamp from Egypt (at least to me).
