I ordered my (Canada's first) lithographic uncut press panel today.....as seen on the back cover of the latest "Details".
Anybody who has uncut press sheets on standing order; this one is NOT included.
You have to call and order separately.
And, that phone order means another $2 for CP.
Gotta love the way they can get an extra buck or two out of you.

Just got mine in the mail today. It's a nice piece. So for anyone still wondering, it's actually 10 uncut horizontal strips of 10. |

Completely imperforated, no score lign or nothing.
I also check it under the black light..the tagging seems smudgie on a couple of stamps. Let me know if your's the same when you get it. |

The stamp will not be issued until Oct 4, (Monday) but the post offices have it already, and I was shown the sheet of 2; it is STUNNING! |

I am wondering about the popularity of the uncut press sheet of this issue, since it is only limited to quantity of 1000. Based on previous limited quantity issues of uncut press sheets, which is in the 2000 qty. range, those sell out quickly and prices move up rapidly (based on ebay and dealer advertisement). However, this time the face value is much higher. I wonder how many uncut sheet collectors are out there since the archival quality press sheet storage is not so common to most collectors. Many collectors keep them in the original tubes which is ok for short term, but the sheets are best laid flat. At the same time, I think many collectors of high value stamps and engraved stamps would want this piece of gem. |

Somebody show me a scan -- I want to see the diver and the krill By the way, I just crawled all over the CanadaPost website for collectors and I can't find one mention of the Blue Whale ?? OK... I found it, but you won't see it by BROWSING their site. You have to search for it to get this page: http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/apps/s...=web&Search=KirkS [edit to add link] |

David. I see the divers!
I think I read there was a "microprinted" diver on the stamp itself? |
