Tell me if I start posting too much please! I put all 3 in to scan to try and save space. I just flipped them over so they should be in the same spots.

Wow! we have a RevGirl to join the RevMen. Nice scans! You're call, but just a observation, I attach an A4 sheet of black Kraft paper to the lid of the scanner (with blu tac) a black background highlights the perfs. Then again, You may dislike that Nice Revs. |

Tonya, welcome I specialize in US Revenues and Tax Paids. I have been collecting them for over 40 years. I learned to read by looking at a Catalog! Beware Stamp Collecting is more addicting than Crack! But, also ALOT more fun! Your R18 (.03 Prop.) is worth a couple of bucks $3-$4. If you have any Rev. questions I'll be happy to help. |

Quote: Stamp Collecting is more addicting than Crack! A crack habit is probably less expensive, and raises fewer eyebrows at cocktail parties, too. |

Revstampman, That comment about crack is the 2nd time I have read it in the last week. The first instance was a postcard collector getting some cardboard crack over the weekend. LOL!
Cjd, Too true about raising eyebrows (especially in the decadent 1980's). |

I think these will be keepers.
Crack. Yes. I thought at first "I will sell them all!"
Now I think "Do I have to sell them? I won't hurt for me to keep just this one more." |

You're doing great, Tonya. Keep posting.
When I was a newbie, I made lots of mistakes. Hopefully, you won't repeat mine. To wit:
As you've noticed with these stamps, some people used to write Scott Numbers on the back of their stamps (usually in pencil). I would encourage you not to do that, but don't erase it either because you might damage the stamp. And I would also encourage you not to automatically believe what you see. For a valuable stamp, you'll want to double-check the identification.
