Hi all, I am new to stamp collecting and I was thinking of starting a stamp collection of the Great White shark. May you help me with a list of countries that have released stamps for this fish. Thanks Amr

After spending about 3 hours searching the link and googling for stamps, I can really say that I am interested in stamp collecting. This is ofcourse besides the headache I feel right now. I am not familiar with the proper terminology so please feel free to correct me anytime. i think my other hobby (drawing) has influenced my choices, because the stamps I like were for landscape painting such as those chinese stamps |

Quote: bytheway is it normal that a stamp doesn't have serrations on its sides It depends on the stamp. The stamps you showed from Bhutan were issued imperforate, and I believe as 3-D images. |

Steve; I think I opened the "can of worms" LOL So, I think this is a nice topic or theme that I would be interested to collect "ofcourse beside the Great white theme". Stamps being a part of a picture showing a beautiful drawing or image more or less with an antique "old" appearance. Is there a name for this topic or theme? and what would you advice me about my start... what to read? buy? and how to save, preserve and display my stamps? I no nothing about stamp collecting and I am waiting for you all to educate me. Thanks Amr |
