Would anyone care to venture a guess as to what town is depicted on this precancel? All I can tell is that it is definitely a hyphenated word and looks like "...Shel-..." and is definitely from the State of New York:
Thanks! I couldn't make out the first part, thinking it was "North" or "South" something, and since there aren't too many towns in NY that start with "Loch" (I don't think)...it really confused me.
