I received the envelopes in the mail today. Not only were they in perfect condition, he sent me 25 extra. So, it was a good deal.

Ok all Im going way out on the cheap limb for the glassine. What about the bags that are used for egg rolls in Chinese restaurants. I noticed that my order came in a bag dont know what it was but looked close to glassine quality. Probably need to check a restaurant warehouse for the answer.

Australians can buy archive plastic envelopes for $16 per 1000
from Bunzl

Note: these envelopes / pockets have no "body" or stiffness
like glassines.
