1883 4c Jackson Error

After looking through a few older stamps I came across this 1883 4 Cent Jackson that should be blue green, but it is a rose color instead. I would appreciate additional thoughts on this.

The 1883 #211 Jackson 4 cent is blue green but the 1888 #215 4 cent Jackson is carmine. Thus you have the #215.

On August 15, 1887 there was an official color change.

Someone with more experience may want to contradict this, but I believe you have Scott #215 (issued 1888) in the color described as "carmine".
