As I understand it, these are not of much value as the punched cancellation identifies them as "remainders", nevertheless, I still find the ornate designs very attractive. (They were produced by the American Bank Note Company.)

they are very nice indeed. I think the pre-1900 US stamps made some very beautiful and ornate stamps.. especially the revenue series.
