Oh, I should also mention, to give you a good laugh, that Dad left me
his collection in binders, with all these stamps sorted.
BUT HE WAS COLORBLIND!!

I look through the stamps from that era and NONE are in the right spots!
I tried once to sort it out, but being a noob, I quickly became frustrated.

revstampman, Thanks for the link, hadn't got to that thread yet, great resource, even if Stanly Gibbons colours. Gives you a range to see and choose between.

I think Scott (and Unitrade Canada) use different names? Sometimes?

Nutmeg, That's the old Dodge colour, Plum Crazy Purple!

All these stamps were bought same time and encased in a plastic shield..MNH/OG ..I payed 30.00 for them on ebay...I myself took them out of the cases..I dont think they were faded though. Thanks for all the help guys. this sight is really helpful...
