I have 2 stamps that I'm not sure of . One is a 3 cent Wash. per. 12 horizontally,
looks like a SC# 158; but it's a coil & a jumbo I think is the term.
The other is a 2 cent Wash. It's perf. 12 Vertically & seems to be a SC# 322.
None of the catalogs I've seen list it though; just the Scott's Specialty Cat.

Make sure the Washington 2 cent has not been trimmed, you can compare it to scott 319 . Just measure it should still be the same as a perf stamp in size.

The 2 cent issue of 1908 appears to have been trimmed at the bottom, the cut is crooked and some remaining perf is visible at the right. My take is it is a #319 that has been trimmed.

The 3 cent issue of 1873 was not issued as a coil, the first ones were the issues of 1908,this appears to have been trimmed, There is mention of a imperf vertically in the Scott Specialized, #158h but it must be in a pair to verify and if so would be an extreme rarity.

Both stamps are likely trimmed.

To identify the 3 cent stamp, start with the paper. Hold it up to light and does the paper look like it's woven? You're looking for a sort of mesh pattern to the paper. If it is, it's on soft paper. If not, it's hard paper.

If the perfs were trimmed off that 3c, it must have had
unusually wide margins.... right? Noob here, but man,
does that look like some wide margins w/o the perfs.

This is why I like cover. If it's never been off the envelope,
you don't run into so much 'monkey business'!

Oh you'd be VERY surprised how many covers have been messed with, even a number of famous ones. Heck, the majority of the Heard covers originally had the stamps removed from them to be stuck in an album.

Google "Consul Klep Cover"... worth a read.

Covers really can be much more deceptive than you'd think.

Welcome to the forum Ron.

May I suggest in future you try a better thread heading please?
SCF comes together to make a large searchable database
but "need help" is unusable in text strings.

A better thread title would have been
"US Coil and jumbo ID"
or
"US Scott #158 ID"

Hope you enjoy your time here and have all your
queries answered
