That same stamp sold at auction for around $210,000.00 USD + Fee's about 4 years ago. I have the Auction Catalog somewhere around here.

Crikey. Why work?
just invest in some rare stamp.

BC: The stamp was inverted when it went through the printer.
I don't recall hearing of an inverted printing machine.

Why does NYStamps do that ??? If the stamp is real it should go through an auction house like Harmer...i doubt if the deep pocket boys are going to compete for it on ebay !!

1.) ebay has waived listing fees through the end of the year. if it doesn't sell, doesn't cost NYStamps anything. (free advertising)

2.) it's a buy it now with the make offer option. they can take offers, just to see where the market is at, and if now is the right time to send it to an auction house. and there may be that one deep pocket collector who will get antsy and pull the trigger on the BiN, especially after it starts showing that they have had a few offers on it.
