There's been lots of talk of covers recently on SCF so I thought I'd dip my toe in, so to speak. I've been watching some cheap 1970s lots with this seller, most go for approx $1. for 3.
I wondered why this particular group has shot up in price. Is there something special about them?

The scan is horrible. I don't know who could make a buying decision based on that. I would say that the Kuwaiti cover has what appears to be a round stamp, which is interesting. Could also be that a metered stamp collector wants an example of an metered cover from Oman. The Iran cover has an interesting ovoid cancellation.

If someone could figure out the date on the Kuwaiti stamp, it could be from the time of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, which would make it more desireable, but this is pure conjecture as I can't see much if any detail in that scan.
