My Newest Large Banknote (Scott 154)

I sure would like to complete this set of bank notes. Here's the album page:



And here is a larger image of the Scott 154 I picked up today. It's not a superb example (none of my stamps are), but it's of similar quality to the others in the set.

The scan is slightly darker than the actual stamp:


Of course adding that 154 sure calls attention to the missing 153 & 155:



If you have an extra 153, 155, or both, of similar quality to these, I am interested in acquiring them.

Very nice page kirkS! All the cancels are light but clear, and good centering.

Nice collection! A piece of advice on the 24c.. those are funny stamps, they seem to bring less of a premium than they truly should when they have really nice color. A washed ut 24c Large Banknote is kinda blah IMO, but one with deep, true color is a real thing of beauty. That's a trickier item to locate but they exist.

I do have a spare copy of a #153 Kirk not exactly centered though a photo tells a thousand words so I'll post a photo of it.

Harry, only you and I know that the scanner enhanced the purple a little more than the original

Not a problem Kirk and that color looks just about right,now the cancellation if you look closely at your scan has a D.C. in it,my imagination has gone ramped Kirk LOL time I went to bed.
