I like Ike. Some versions of this stamp used experimental dry gum. I have some of the FDCs of this version.

The 6c dark blue gray Eisenhower (Dot between "R" and "U") rotary press printing was first issued August 6, 1970 and should be tagged and perforated 11x10.5. The Scott number is 1393. That aside, is there something else that you wanted to know?

Sometimes we are more interested in more than the actual stamp that we never really look at or study the actual stamp. I see this alot when people are quick to pull the trigger on what they think is a deal on the older US stamps.

To put it simple this one is a fake.

The real stamp is on the left.

Well, you tricked us . Are you now chastising us too?

But then again, you have to admit, your original question was fairly vague. And lithograving even suspected you were up to something, but others were just trying to help answer whatever your question might be.

So, how would you respond if I asked, "What can you tell me about Pennsylvania?"

I think someone said we liked our guns and bibles or something like that.

No chastising meant - just a lesson in not all stamps are what they are. Sometimes it is a good practice to compare a stamp with a known original. Granted your not going to do it for a modern stamp but there are more than enough older stamps on the market place to be a concern.

If yinz live in da west part of da state we speak our own language. fer example my favorite dealer is dahntahn. yinz alls should make a visit to see him. Then we can grab a pop and walk to da other side of da river.

Whenever da kids redd up their room I give dem some money to buy stamps. However if they ferget then I make dem worsh da car and sit on da sofa on da porch.

Not much I can add since I don't live in the east part of the state.
