Have there been any announcements on the formal Scott #'s assigned to 2010 U.S. issues? (I'm most interested in the Boy Scouts and Mother Teresa commemoratives.)

Thanks.

The Mother Teresa stamp was issued on September 5 and has not yet been assigned a Scott number in either the latest LSN nor the final SSM. It will likely be assiged a Scott number later this month or early next month. If this thread gets buried by then, bump the thread and I'll check for you again then.

Thanks for the info. I remember that there used to be a periodic update every so often in Linn's on the assigned Scott #'s, but didn't remember how long it took to get them in there. I know the latest stamp catalogs typically go to the end of 2009 with the 2010's not yet assigned.

There is usually a 2-4 month lag time. In fact, the scouting stamp wasn't catalogued in SSM until the final issue (November 2010).

However, you can expect the Mother Teresa catalog number assignment to appear in the LSN US 2010 Stamp Program listing sometime this month or next.

Thanks for the link! I also picked out a couple of other catalog numbers for 2010 issues that I didn't have info. on yet. It's a good resource.

(I also noted that they have "red lighted" the Negro Leagues Baseball issue as one that you should not soak off paper ... I didn't know that until now.)
