so here are my replacement choices..
first one is a #1d cv 1250.00 my cost $325.00
second one is a #1b cv 1100.00 my cost $425.00

what say you?

it says 1 bvar but is actually a 1d. brown orange
the 1b is orange brown.

I love the wide margin on the #1b graded by PSAG,The PF graded #1B looks like It's lost part of It's left margin.

so they offered me the first one at the same cost as the #1 I bought last week. $200.00. I told him yes.

Red cancellations are nice, but I prefer the first one. Unlike Harry, that large right margin distracts me.

I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder sometimes

Either way, I'd say you got a good deal (even if it took a little longer than expected).

after more discussions and several more copies of #1's. I finally decided to just take my money back.
I will wait till I find one I like.

I need some help.I came into some rare Stamps and Cinderellas and I need to get them Authenticated Who is the Bestand widely accepted company in the USA ?? To get this done???

probably your best option--starting over. The first #1 had the right margin cutting into the frame line. As for the second stamp, thank goodness it is not just me. I, too, do not like the wide margin on the second stamp. I suppose it is the aesthetics of it. For me I prefer a symmetrical stamp. Even though I will not remove it, I don't even like selvage attached to a stamp.

First, you only need to ask once -- not three times in 5 minutes Seriously, sometimes we all get "double-posts" but you can delete your duplicates using the little trash-can icon.
