The 24¢ De Havilland Bi-Plane is a good one to have, 2009 catalog value of $30.00, a couple of the Franklins are worth a buck or 2. Other than that pretty common
Stamps. The bureau Pre-cancels are always fun to collect.

Nice stamps. They should fill some holes in your collection very nicely.

Thomas,

I agree with Butch, you're beginning to fill out your U.S. collection and even have a decent start on a precancel collection. If you are interested in expanding your U.S. holdings, my offer of a trade is still in effect:

If you're interested, send me an email.

Thanks to all for their feedback..

I think that the one stamp (The 24¢ De Havilland Bi-Plane is a good one to have, 2009 catalog value of $30.00) alone has made it worth while the effort. Even though my main interest is IFS Cochin and British India, whenever the chance comes I try to gather old stamps from everywhere. In the auction I had mentioned, I managed to get about 6000 stamps in 6 world stamp lots. Now I am in the process of sorting those to get to the oldies.... There are some lots from USA, Nederland, Austria, Australia, Britain and some commonwealth countries etc..

tomiseksj... I visited the link you had given. I think most of the stamps shown there are in the lot which I got of US stamps...

Meanwhile being a novice in US stamps, would like to know about the "bureau Pre-cancels" ones.

Once again thanks and regards
Thomas
