Hi Lucky,
theis is called an "electric eye"
an electric device used to guide the perforating machine
in making correct margins. A series of coloured dashes in the
margins aids the device in its operation.

Those are "Electric Eye" marks. That stamp is from a booklet pane.

Electric eye perforator,
it seems the sheets are being delivered to the lass
in the foreground, looks like perforated sheets.

Not sure of the machine name looks like "Reybould Potter Co"
a lot of US stamps were produced by Ashton Potter

The gal in the foreground looks like she has a patterned
dress of 3c Franklins

Thanks for the info. Does it add anything to the value with that Electric Eye piece attached?

Non-contact sensors (electric eyes) adjusted the paper to perforator alignment. Pic below shows a 4 eye perforator. The 2 eyes marked "reads" the long sides of the bars. If the bar breaks into the eye, the alignment is adjusted. the 2 unmarked eyes read the ends of the bars allowing both horizontal and vertical alignment. Looks like a different machine but same dress.
No extra value for electric eye except for Scott 634 experimental
