I want to go traveling now.

Maybe he's gone to some big shows or something?

October? You mean November?

The vacation was great but a bit pricey..what do we know about euros and pounds ?...the trip was in October..the Europeans live at a different tempo than we do ..which is refreshing when you live within 95 miles of Wall Street !

According to this site, there are 23 stamp dealers in Amsterdam . . . (search for postzegel winkel amsterdam) - postzegel = stamp, winkel = shop

http://www.allebedrijveninamsterdam...m/index.html

I always try to find local dealers when I travel - sometimes can track them down online, more usually through local yellow pages. The main problem is that the names are so different from place to place, and hard to find in most dictionaries. "Philately" or "Filatelie" sometimes works.

And then you get there and find the wretched place shut (like the only stamp dealer in Bratislava, who shuts on Saturdays, DOH), or that they only sell mint stamps at full catalogue . . .

But certainly they take life nice and easy!
