Heres An Appropriate Cancel !

I have a number of stamp collecting related slogan cancels, but never saw that one before. I wonder if it's use was restricted to the West Coast?

In any event, a nice cancel and as you said, very "appropriate".

I wish it was a family hobby in my house !

At least my wife enjoys looking at my stamps, and tolerates the hours I spend on my collection (can't get my sons interested though - but they do get me stamps from time to time . . .

I wonder if you can get rubber stamps that look like that slogan? Then I could stamp all my correspondence with an appropriate stamping.

Nice slogan. In a sense it's true for me since it's my older sister who introduce philately in the family. A long time ago when she stop collecting she gave me her collection. Nowadays I show my collection to members of my family. Even lend albums to my brother in law who studied in graphic design. That's how I show my stamps before I join SCF. Now I can also show them on SCF and I take pride into it. For me it's has valuable than showing at an exhibition. Finally, yes, SCF is a great big family so let's enjoy together hour fantastic hobby.
