I would ask the seller if the stamps are stuck down or not, especially those mint Canadian stamps. I've seen collections before in old photo albums and sometimes it's fine, other times it's practically impossible or they can be removed and the backs have more ridges than a bag of Ruffles.

I know of one collector who claims that naptha will work for removing stamps from the "magnetic" photo albums. I have never tried it, anyone else heard of this?

Removing the stamps from the album is only half the battle...

Reversing the damage, gum disturbance, and discoloration is another matter entirely.
