THE MERRY CHRISTMAS THREAD !

OK all. That silly season is upon us. When everyone goes mad shopping, buying presents for friends and family; going to work parties and coming home steaming and giggling ; Playing in the snow or lying in the sun depending on where you live.

A time of goodwill towards men [and women], and making sure the little ones are happy. Overeating and underworking; making a snowman or making sandcastles, depending on where you live!

But take time out over the next few weeks to wish your SCF buddies a Happy Christmas. Instead of 'Saying it with Flowers', say it with stamps.
Wish your best SCF buddies or all of them a Happy Christmas with stamps.

The best Christmas wish will receive a beautiful and superb prize from me.

I am sure they will all be good so I will not be the judge.....you will ! Details later.

Say it here, this is the ......

HAPPY CHRISTMAS THREAD !!

Off you go then, take out the sherry and get thinking.....or just say Happy Christmas

Londonbus1.....no need to be politically correct here

Please Don't take offense... look at the spirit of of the season ... and the thread to which you respond.
Meantime, if anyone knows a place to look up information about vintage postcards. I've not been able to date or classify these;
Thanks much.

Up until now only one person showed actual Christmas stamps on this post. So let me share one of my favorites from a couple of decades ago from Canada. Bold colors and simple designs make for very attractive stamps.

Oh... I like the holidays and the South African stamp is great...
So what is the history with the TB symbol on the child's dress. Is is one that falls into a christmas seal catagory such as these from 1919 & 1923?
