I found two Lola Flores 30 cent stamps in my small stamp collection. Both were used for postage and are still affixed to part of the envelope. I believe they are from Spain. Does anyone know a ball park value on these stamps? I can not find any information on them anywhere besides this 1 auction I found on ebay, and I think the seller has the stamp WAY over priced. I could not upload a picture of my stamps, but it is the same as the one half way down this web page: http://www.flamencoshop.com/stamps.htm
Thanks for your help, David-

Hello

Well, on my old Edifil 2002

1996, 14 jun. Personajes Populares. D.13 3/4 I. Huecograbado.
3443 30p .15 used
.80 on a cover.

So, .80 euros. Maybe another player had a better answer, I´m not a Spain stamps expert.

Welcome to Stamp Community Forum, David!

The 2010 Scott catalog lists 2 denominations (19p and 30p) and the catalog numbers are Spain #2861-2862, respectively. The used stamps are at the catalog minimum of 20c each. The mint stamps are 25c and 45c, respectively.

Welcome to SCF, David.

It's quite a common stamp, but celebrates a most uncommon person, a giant of Spanish popular / flamenco music. She died in 1995, the year before the stamp was issued.

Here's an example of her singing (when young):

When I was a tacker, my big brother returned home from Spain
with hand embroidered postcards of Spanish ladies in swirling dresses
and elaborate bonnets.
They fascinated me for years.

I have not seen an embroidered postcard since.
