Hello,
I am a new member living in Virginia, from California. My dad started me on stamp collecting when I was about 7. Off and on I have added to my original 1978 Scott World Stamp album. My collection is basic, as I collect any stamps I come across. I just like slowly covering the album's pre-designed black and white stamp images with my newly acquired colorful stamps. My older US section is pretty much full. I have added newer US pages and those have more blanks than my older section. I have started my kids on stamp collecting and was able to bring them to the APS Stamp Show that was in Richmond this summer. I am a Merit Badge Counselor for Stamp Collecting for the Boy Scouts out here and I will be teaching it to them on 12/22/10 at a merit badge workshop. In my research I am glad I found this site. It seems like a great community of people.
