Personally I'm not in favour of having a whole bunch of categories for different areas of collecting.
Since I don't collect Latin America and Spanish I wouldn't even give it a glance if it was in a separate category but I might look at it as I'm checking the Main forum and who knows I might see something that I would be interested in.
In my opinion the most successful stamp forums have a very limited number of sub categories.
I'm sure I've missed interesting posts in the Canada section because it is separated from the worldwide classic section. Not that I ignore the Canada section...I often look there, but I occasionally gloss over it.
