David, I wondered if the catalogue numbering might be a giveaway, but those stamps must be from the 1966 Kenya animals series, where SG and Scott share similar (or the same) numbering. If it was Kenya Uganda Tanganyika, then Scott 32 would be the 3-shilling black, which is too valuable for that packet at that price.
In short, I don't think the numbers are a clue. (The company name looks UK to me, for what its worth.)
Hey Rod, I'm still kickin.. I live in South FL so Stamping is my Summer hobby when its too hot to go outside... I I've been taking a few months break, but that time of the year is coming back and so will I :)
