advise me as to how much postage was charged for mailing
this envelope.

I can't read Chinese but the meter label says 26 yuan.

Thanks Nigel. How stupid of me, now I see it.

That's amazing. The cover was sent to my son and contained 5
phone screen savers for which he paid $3CAD free shipping.

How do they make any money on this?

That is a small amount for registered international mail compared to what I am used to paying.

Maybe some of the price that you do not see is a bribe so the mail will get handled correctly and actually get to Canada.

I wonder what they get paid there?

You masked your address and left the sender's CELL phone number on the scan ??

I don't know if it's actually a phone number -- it just says "Cell:" on the return address.
