I bid on the Veldman auction, and made off with one or two pieces. None from Bussahir, though. It is full of traps for young players. But for those with nerves of steel, and pockets as deep as the Mariana Trench ... Bussahir is an interesting State to collect. A much more modest SG 33 (the 1900-01 2 Anna ochre imperf) used on piece:



In fact, I recently picked up this copy of the Morvi 1931 3 Pies blue error of colour, printed on the gummed side



(SG 4c)

which was sold in the Veldman auction. This stamp was doubly unlucky. The printers screwed up royally with the 3 Pies value: it should have been printed in pink, but the greater part of the printing was done in blue. Then the printers printed the (probably single) sheet of eight, from which this stamp comes, on the wrong side of the paper.
