It's missing 10 stamps valued at 1/2 mills, the book is in great condition.. Just wondering what this might be worth..?

I think that they are "trading stamps". There were several trading stamps in the 1940's-1960's, I can remember S&H Green stamps, Mor-Valu, Gold Bond, and several others. Stores and gas stations used to give them out for your purchases, normally 1 stamp for each $.10 purchase. When the books were full you could exchange them for cash or merchandise. Many of the bigger ones had redemption centers. I am starting to see these pop up at antique and collectable shows but I have not priced them.

I'm not from that region of the country, but here's a link to Megafoods web site's history that shows it started 75 years ago and still exists corporately as "Consumers Cooperative Association":

While it doesn't mention the Indian Head Stamps, I suspect they were trading stamps similar to S&H, Plaid, Gold Bond, etc., for that region.

The only clue as to date that I can give is that the name of the Cooperative uses a 5-digit ZIP Code. Those 5-digit ZIP Codes started in 1963, so we know it has to be after that date, and the trading stamp promotions generally stalled later in that decade, so I'm guessing the example shown is probably mid-to-late 1960's.
