Here's something you don't come across very often. Two continuous different devices - in this case 841 from Eclectic, Alabama on a horizontal pair.

The difference is most noticeable with the narrow and wide fonts in the town name. Note the letter "C".

I just thought I'd share this with the forum.

In the PSS Types catalog, these are identified with the (3) footnote.
In my Alabama Handbook I show pictures of this, and all the known 3-footnote varieties:

BTW - it is only one 'device' - the device is a handstamp with 10 images on it - 2 columns, 5 rows.
All the images in the right column have the wide-C's - the other letters on the device are all 'normal'.

Just looked up the town on the internet, population is right around 1000 people. Until I looked it up, I never even heard of the town before.
