First, take a look at this link
http://www.amazon.com/

My son was over this weekend and was looking at my table where I am in the process of sorting stamps. One of my albums was out and he was looking through that. For a brief moment I thought that he was getting interested in my hobby, but I was mistaken. He turns around to me and says, "This like the sticker collection I had as a kid. Remember the ones that I had on cartoon characters?"

Okay, as a stamp collector I was just a little miffed, but I can see where maybe they are alike, but he just doesn't get it! There's a big difference....lol He then said that what I was doing was just a more adult version of what he did as a child. Maybe I was living my 2nd childhood. That did it for me. I guess he will expect seeing me with adult coloring books and crayons.....wait a minute...I do remember doing that a couple of years ago....lol

I use to have a sticker album too. One of my favite pages was a bunch of He-Man stickers as a fight scene over a 2 page spread. Of course, those stickers are long gone, but the stamps remain.

After reading your post I thought I read or saw somewhere something about collecting digitized stamps. These are not the real ones someone pays money that has the potential to send a letter through the post but a digitized version to stick in a virtual stamp album.
