Little did we realize what little old Sierra Leone was leading stamp collectors into in 1964 when they introduced the free form self adhesive stamp.

Nice one! It seems to have held up very well under 40 odd years of safekeeping. (The same can't be said for the US's first attempt at self adhesive stamps (1974 Christmas Precancel) that winds up all yellowed and stained in most people's albums.)

wt1 I have had the same luck as most people with that christmas issue, but when I was looking through some of my duplicates, I came across a couple that looked almost new. I'll find them again and post them.

Wt1 - Here are those Christmas self adhesives that I have managed (I don't know how) to keep from discoloring.
