I thought it had gotten lost in the shuffle but today I found the package containing my new (new to me) 2005 SG Australia catalog. It is beautiful, and full of tons of details not found in Scott (including some cinderellas).

For those of you who are wondering, my first catalog by SG was the 1983 Queen Victoria Specialized.

Happy collecting!

Stanley Gibbons makes good catalogues, have a few I use regularly myself. A Simplified Stamps of the World from 2007 (one of the books are from 2008 since I bought them separately), SG Australia and New Zealand (both 2010 I think) and the British Commonwealth and Colonies 1840-1970 from 2009.

If any of you are interested in SG catalogues, check out Stanley Gibbons on ebay. They are having some very good deals there, I picked up both the New Zealand and Commonwealth/Colonies there at a very good price. Postage and handling to Norway was reasonable as well. It seems they are using ebay to sell out old catalogues when its time for a new edition.
