I found a box of stamps cleaning out my closet today, I inherited these when I was younger and have no idea of the value or worth. The bulk seems to be TONS of Canadian stamps, some look very old and there all in what i'd say decent condition, the other thing I have that I can't find on ebay is a pack of stamps wrapped in some plastic called 'Golden Value Quality Packets AERO SPACE' no MP1003 ALL DIFFERENT ALL GENUINE and $2.00 on the side (unopened and theres tons of space stamps.) I can provide pictures.. I just have no idea what to do with any of these or if they are worth anything.

The "golden value quality packets"
do they have a brand name?
Possibly Readers Digest?

Majorit of price on the canadian stamps appears to range from 1 cents - 30ish? If that matters

Not really G1ebe,
we here, like our scans up close and personal :)
Obviously not reader's digest, however,
the way they are displayed, evidences either a hinged format
or a silastic type glue, which they may state does
not effect the stamps.
It does, and sometimes leaves a oily like stain
rendering them valueless apart from personal appreciation.

Judging by what you can see, would you presume it to be worth anything? I have GOBS of these canadian stamps aswell but non appear to be of value yet. I'm not sure how to go about looking for them on ebay though.

With respect, I really don't think it is useful to
suggest pricing on material such as yours.
I have seen common stamps sold for triple catalogue value
at car boot sales, and practically given away at stamp clubs.
The best advice I can offer, is to show them to somebody from
a stamp club near you, or to take to a stamps dealer
for an honest overall appraisal of what you have.

Others may chip in here for their suggestions.

There are so many factors involved . As for the Canadian stamps there are some low values that can still be worthy of attention. Assuming you do not have any or many with queen victoria the next step would be coil stamps , generally found easiest by either straight edges both top and bottom or both sides. As Rod said we have seen albums full sell for next to nothing and others that were all but worthless sell for far more than they should. A quick run to the library will likely find you either scotts(world) or unitrade(canadian) catalogs that will assist you somewhat but please take prices with a grain of salt.
As for the space/astronaut packs I can not tell for sure from the pic but in the early 70's many countries issued these types and likely you have a thematic (space theme) pack . These are awesome starters especially for youngsters to get them interested and involved in a potentially life long hobby. As you look things up and read a bit you may find and appreciate the effort that had to go into a collection pre internet and may even catch a bug to continue adding where your past family left off.
Please try and do scans or hi res pics and we will do our best to assist.

The cancellations / postmarks on the stamps can add value also, this from an appreciator of cancels.

The condition of a stamp is the usual big factor in it's valuation.

Some older stamps have printing errors that can be collected.

How old are these, can you read the year on any postmarks?
