i need help identifing this stamp I have, I don't know a lot about these stamps and this one has some of the top missing which makes it harder, but I also dont think it has been recut. any way here are the pics

Great scan, much eaeier to work with these type of images. Plate 1 Late Type IV Scott 9. Of course I can't tell about the top but the bottom is recut once. I marked the recut. The left side tie is easily distinushed the right is a little harder to see.

So as a guess what would you say the stamp under has been recut and any idea what the plate no might be.
Is there any signs of shifts or double imprints because it makes it easier to I'd
And being as it is appears to be unused is it worth getting a certificate

it looks to me like it is cleaned.
the back shows signs of having been adhered to something.. lots and lots of thins
