Is there anyway to find out how many stamp plate numbers were used with printing of a particular stamp??

Gussyboy1, there is a catalog by, I beleive, Durland, (need to checking spelling) for US stamps and it lists the plate numbers for blocks. Mike in NYC / meostamps

The United States Stamp Society sells the Durland catalog. You might find one a couple years old on ebay.

The Durland catalog is compiled and edited by W. Wallace Cleland. He is an well-known enzymologist and a avid stamp collector. I met him at a scientific meeting several years ago.
