Hello,

My name is Justin Daniel Wileman.
I drug my childhood stamp collection out of the attic last Fall while on paternity leave from work. I've since been obsessed.
Aside from collecting as a child, I bought a few cheap collections on ebay in the late 90's(I was into ebay then, but not stamps) due to what seemed like great prices.
So, I've been assembling, assorting alot of US stamps and FDC's.
Went to my first stamp show last weekend....awesome.

I feel like too much of a noob to even ask an intelligent question on this board, but I hope to get alot out of reading others posts.

Justin Daniel Wileman

Welcome Justin and you may as well throw out the noob feeling. Every one of us is learning about something related to stamps. The nice thing about asking here is that ALL questions get treated the same. We answer them! We all know that we need to continue to learn and have fun at the same time. That's why we are here. So ask away and give some of us a chance to help. Welcome again and I look forward to your threads.

Justin, welcome to SCF. The forum provides a great resource for collectors of all experience levels. When I (many of us) began collecting good information was hard to find (before internet) causing a lot of misinformation. I carried a lot of this bad info for years. Ask the questions and get the right info up front. You will find this to be the friendliest forum on the net. With stamp collecting we all started at knowledge zero.

Hi Justin, welcome, glad to have you here.

There is a saying that goes Knowledge is Power, and we has one here that goes Education is the Key to Collector Success.

If you don't ask you won't find out.
