Here is another dealer currently being outed with another scam with fake grills. Take caution with "VKirby440"? Just another black eye the hobby.

Link to post. See post "Bought as a US #151 now offered as #140" under Expert Opinions.

1775mac, thanks for pointing out this unscrupulous dealer. It is too easy to be taken advantage on ebay so please continue to keep us in the loop when suspicious activity is discovered.

I noticed that the seller did not scan the back of the stamp. ebay will probably close them down just to have them reappear under a different name.

2 dealers I've had issues with--

CK Stamps, Kenny Chen- I've returned 2 items to him now, and he's always been fair and refunded my cash, but a couple of weeks ago, I was less than pleased with his response, basically saying that they do not mention faults, but rely on the buyer to notice faults from the scan. To me, if he knows there is a fault, he needs to specifically list it. Anything else is dishonest, and trying to prey upon the buyer.

Kay Kim-- I've returned 2 items to him in the past month. One was a MH US#387. I explained to him that when I measured the stamp it was much less than 25mm high, more like 24mm. And the top margin is right against the design-- obviously trimmed stamp. So I returned it, and found what I believe to be the exact same stamp for sale the other day again. If he's been told that it doesn't measure correctly, in no way should he try to sell the stamp as a #387 again.

I hate to talk trash on these guys, they have some really nice prices, but please beware..... Ray
