Great article,BOB! Thanks for posting it! I have another reason for collecting in addition to everything folks have mentioned. I have several fractures in my back and a lot of the time when the pain medication isn't helping, I can open up my stamp albums and get so involved with them that often it takes my mind off of the pain.

Both of my sons are now collecting the 9 year old is interested in japan and my 12 year old is collecting Russian stamps !1
