Barefoot 2008 prices this revenue at £25, although they describe the colour as "greenish-grey" - your example is more green than grey.

Issue date is given as circa 1956. Perf should be 14, with watermark Script CA.

Eastern Nigeria is the part of Nigeria that is in the Bight of Bonny (or the Bight of Biafra). Enugu is the capital of Enugu State, which composed part of the Biafran Secession 11 years later. Enugu is considered the home of the Ibo or Igbo tribe of Nigeria.

An interesting side note that the "Cola" of the soft drink Coca Cola is a food product referred to as the Kola Nut. It is native to Nigera and is high in caffeine. The Kola Nut is highly prized in the Igbo culture, and it's consumption is ritualized.

Interesting information.
