Scott catalogue lists price in singles and as a plate# block of 6. As singles, these have a book value of $4.50 ea in VF (x4 = $18). The centering on this block is probably F/VF but that is a subjective observation. If I were listing this for sale, I would price this at $10 retail. (again, a subjective opinion)

The 2011 Scott Specialized values an FVF NH single at $3 each and a F NH single at $1.80.

Here's a nice period cancel to go along with the C7:

It's from a special flight cover from the State Fairgrounds at Springfield, IL to Chicago. (Note the SON machine cancel of airplane over the map portion of the stamp.) In addition to the cancel shown from Springfield, IL on 08/27/1926 at 4:00 PM, it is backstamped Chicago on 08/27/1926 at 7:00 PM.

A 3-hour airplane journey in 1926 wasn't too bad, I suppose. A map search tells me the distance is 208 miles and today one can travel it by car in 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
